This volume includes a brief political and economic description of countries and their states or regions.
Europa World Yearbook (Ref Desk 341.184 Eu7e v. 1-2.)
These volumes include a list of countries, their history, current events, government styles as well as statistics on population and economy. Older volumes are kept in the regular reference collection. These volumes include the greatest amount of economic information on a country.

A basic guide to importing, exporting, industry specific information, and industry/country information. Try the Country Commercial Guides for information on the business climate in your country.
OECD Economic Outlook (print and online)

regions. Go directly to the country list
For an even broader search, combine the name of your country and the word "environment*".
You could also look up a specific aspect of global warming such as "greenhouse" or a specific summit such as the "Kyoto summit" or the "rio convention". To be even more specific add the term "ratification".
Select the “News” search to find international news articles related to your country in the required categories. Select “Major World Publications” in the Select Source menu. Enter your country into the Search Terms box, along with a keyword for the type of information you are interested in finding.

of each country and what each of the signatories is doing to implement these changes.
