The "Furniture Library Collection"

        The Bienenstock Furniture Library Collection is a microfiche collection of over 500 titles from the Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library. The titles deal with the history of furniture design, architecture, decoration, style and manufacture. Both European and American furniture designers and cabinetmakers from the 1600s to the early 19th century are covered. This is not a current list of the Furniture Library's holdings, but more of an archive.

        In 1996 Smith Library purchased the microfiche copies of the Furniture Library collection. Copies are kept at the Circulation Desk. To locate the microfiche copies:
