American Business Directory (ReferenceUSA) -- Full-text.
Business directory covering 12.5 million companies and 125 million residents. This resource provides access and lineage to nearly all of the companies in the US. Use the basic search to find a particular company (Lifestyle Furnishings) and then look at the "holdings" of the company. Use the custom search to find all the companies (by SIC or NAICS) in a geographic region such as county, city or state.

Interior Design Web Resources

Architecture and Interior Design for Twentieth Century America
The Gittscho-Schleisner Collection is "comprised of over 29,000 images primarily of architectural subjects, including interiors and exteriors of homes, stores, offices, factories, historic buildings, and other structures." They are located primarily in the northeastern United States, mainly the New York City area, and Florida. Also included are the homes of notable Americans and several U.S. presidents, as well as the 1939-40 New York World's Fair. This is part of the American Memory project of the Library of Congress."
