Provides abstracts for over 1300 periodicals, book chapters and books in psychology and related disciplines such as sociology and psychiatry.      Indexes a large number of foreign language titles, with coverage from 1872.


PsycARTICLES from Ebsco
Full text of about 50 journals from the Amer. Psychological Assn, Canadian Psychological Assn, and Hogrefe & Huber Publishers. Includes related areas such as forensics, criminal behavior, social processes, and social issues.

Annual Review of Psychology - Online
Published in August of each year, Annual Reviews provides a survey of significant research in psychology on various topics.

MEDLINE at PubMed Central
A database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes over 16 million citations for articles from biomedical and life science journals with coverage from the 1950s to current. PubMed Central includes a smaller set of these journals, all available in full-text. A good source for neuroscience research.

Article database with many psychology and sociology titles included.

OneFile on InfoTrac -- Full-text.
With over 42 million articles, Onefile is the largest of the database providers. Try the "Subject Guide Search" to focus your topic.

Dissertation Abstracts on FirstSearch -- Abstracts only.
Abstract database to masters and doctoral dissertations. Dissertations are narrowly focused in their topics and are more difficult to obtain (few schools own very many). Ask your professor before making them a part of your research.
