About: JSTOR (Journal STORage) Arts and Sciences Collection includes the complete back runs of 119 journals in twenty-one disciplines. Established in 1997, it is JSTOR's first collection and includes many of the core research and society published journals in economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. This collection also includes a selection of titles in the more science-oriented fields of ecology, mathematics, and statistics. Full text.

Dates of Coverage: starts from volume 1 (often from the 1800s), excluding the latest 3-5 years.

Truncation: [*]. (To use truncation, enter the root of a search term and replace the ending with a truncation symbol. The search engine will then find all forms of that word. For example, type comput* to find the words computer or computing).

Wildcard: [?]= single characters, [*]= multiple characters. (The wildcard is helps when the spelling of a word is incomplete. To use the wildcard, enter your search terms and replace each unknown character with the appropriate wildcard symbol. The search engine finds all citations of that word with the symbol replaced by a letter. For example, type ne?t to find all citations containing neat, nest or next).
