About: PsycInfo on EBSCO via NCLive from the American Psychological Association (APA) contains abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations. Pyscinfo is the largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health. It contains nearly 3 million citations and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s. Journal coverage, which spans from the 1800s to the present, includes international material selected from more than 2,400 periodicals in nearly 30 languages. Full text.

Truncation: [*]. (To use truncation, enter the root of a search term and replace the ending with a truncation symbol. The search engine will then find all forms of that word. For example, type comput* to find the words computer or computing).

Wildcard: [?]=single character, [#]=multiple characters. (The wildcard helps when the spelling of a word is incomplete. To use the wildcard, enter your search terms and replace each unknown character with the appropriate wildcard symbol. The search engine finds all citations of that word with the symbol replaced by a letter. For example, type ne?t to find all citations containing neat, nest or next).
